Animal Sanctuary

Posted by admin under Site News

My dream of having an animal sanctuary is finally becoming a reality!  For many years, I’ve had a dream of rescuing, rehabilitating and caring for those critters most in need: the ones who have been abused, abandoned, injured and left to live on the streets without any hope of a life worth living.  I want to help any animal who is in need and needs a home.  My God, if I could help them ALL, all…

The sanctuary will be located in Mexico, my place of birth, as there is far more need to help animals there than there is in Canada, where I currently live.  It will be a place of safety and refuge for as many animals as the funds will allow me to support.

The sanctuary will also be a Nature Retreat where people can go to find respite from the stresses of daily life.  It will be a place to connect with Nature and her creatures to find balance in the simplicity of living a simple life.

The Sanctuary will also facilitate a free and low-cost sterilization program, foster home and adoption programs, and humane education to bring awareness and understanding that we are one with Nature and her creatures.

My intent is to have the animal sanctuary this year, 2010.  Everything I do is with the purpose of helping these animals.  I would like to generate enough funds, through my consulting services and product sales, to make this a reality.  However, I also need your help to make this happen.  I would appreciate any amount you could donate to help me help the animals most in need.

I will dedicate the Sanctuary to the memory of my Mother and my sister Michèle, and to the adorable companion animals who shared their lives with me throughout my life:  Spad, Skippy, Pecos, Smokey, Muffy and Bubito – all rest in peace.  To all of them, I have much to thank and with gratitude, I follow my path, purpose and passion to help animals: these innocent creatures who need help and cannot speak for themselves.

On behalf of the animals, thank you!

Marisa

Luna was rescued from the streets in Mexico. I want as many destitute animals to have Luna's good fortune.
